1. What Seagull Is

Seagull is an AI-assisted legal case companion designed to help men navigate the process of separation and divorce. It is not a law firm, not a solicitor and does not provide legal advice.

Seagull helps you organise documents, understand correspondence, prepare draft responses and build a case record. Nothing produced by Seagull constitutes legal advice or establishes a solicitor-client relationship.

2. Not Legal Advice

All information, guidance and documents produced by Seagull are for preparatory and informational purposes only. You must seek independent legal advice from a qualified solicitor before:

3. Accuracy

Seagull's responses are based on the information you provide and a general knowledge base. Seagull cannot independently verify facts, documents or the accuracy of your situation. It may occasionally make errors. Always verify important information with a qualified professional.

The legal knowledge base covers England and Wales. If your case involves Scotland, Northern Ireland or an international jurisdiction, different rules apply and you should seek specialist advice.

4. Your Data

Documents, letters and correspondence you upload are stored securely in Cloudflare's infrastructure. Your data is used only to provide the Seagull service to you.

You may permanently delete all your data at any time by typing Yellow in the chat. This schedules deletion within 48 hours. You may cancel within that window.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (Cloudflare infrastructure, Anthropic AI processing).

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Registration number: C1901798.

5. Limitation of Liability

Seagull is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Netizen 9 (trading as Seagull) excludes all liability for loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including reliance on any information or document produced by Seagull.

You use Seagull at your own risk and on the understanding that it does not replace qualified legal advice.

6. Safeguarding

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. If you are in emotional crisis, call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours).

Seagull is designed to be a calm, supportive companion. It will always signpost to professional support services where appropriate.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
